Accounting Intern Job Description: Global is seeking a finance intern to work with its Accounting Department located in Waltham, MA. Duties and Responsibilities: * This position is intended to require independent work under the supervision of the Assistant Controller. * Support Special Projects as needed * Assist in the creation of value added reporting * Assist with the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements * Operational Activities * Assist with forecasting process, including preparing forecast templates and performing ad-hoc analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Applicant should be in a four-year college degree with at least 2 years completed in undergraduate study in Finance or Accounting. * Strong background in Excel, and PowerPoint * High level of verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail, flexibility and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while meeting expected deadlines * Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment * Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills * Strong work ethic and tenacity

• Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week from June 4th - August 10th. * The internship program is designed to give college students not only corporate experience but also the opportunity to learn more about the industry and Global itself. This summer program consists of formal info sessions with the executive team and others from around the business and developing a group project that is presented at the end of the 10 weeks.
