Role: Global Leadership Program Coordinator-Summer 2026
Location: Thornwood, NY
Salary: $23-25/ hour Based on Experience

About the role
In this role, you will coordinate and actively engage in a safe, organized, meaningful, enriching, and fun Leadership program for groups of international summer students, primarily ages 13-17. The program should focus on the work of the United Nations (UN) and the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), an urgent call for action by a global partnership of all developed and developing countries to end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality, spur economic growth, tackle climate change, and work to preserve our oceans and forests.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to:
Coordinating the Global Leadership Camp program, under the direction of the Academic Manager.
Planning and implementing age-appropriate, safe, and enriching pre-defined lesson plans and activities focused on the UN SDGs and principles with groups of international students.
Guiding students and coworkers in participating successfully and appropriately in all aspects of the Leadership camp activities.
Accompanying students on field trips and off-campus excursions, including to the United Nations in New York City and a weekend trip to Boston, MA.
Communicating regularly with the direct supervisor regarding concerns, updates, challenges, and successes.
Monitoring daily attendance and keeping up-to-date records and paperwork.
Respond to all problems and emergencies should they arise.
Perform other duties as assigned by management staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Model UN with the ability to teach these skills and create a positive learning environment.
Bachelor's Degree or relevant manager/teaching experience
Familiarity with the UN SDGs
Possess strong communication and leadership skills and has excellent character, integrity, adaptability, patience, responsibility, enthusiasm, organization, and humor.
Be able to lead and fully participate in activities.
Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
Complete fluency in English.
