    Aircraft Services continues to experience growth and needs the right individual to lead the expansion of our MRO business. We focus on the repair and manufacture of spare assemblies made from titanium, nickel and stainless-steel alloys. Our business is global, with customers in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia.  We have a fast-paced environment where every day is different, and effective teamwork is paramount.     Key Responsibilities:

    • The successful candidate has a process view and uses this to continually improve the way work is completed.  This includes:
      • Ensuring that repairs and spares are manufactured accurately, efficiently and in a repeatable fashion - in compliance with regulatory, customer and corporate requirements.
      • Creating and/or documenting standard processes to embody essential experience and minimize tribal knowledge
      • Identifying improvements and implementing them to the system and manufacturing process

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    Education, Skills, and Experience:

    • S. in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent B.S. with bias toward manufacturing (equivalent demonstrated capability may be considered in lieu of degree)
    • 2 to 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing envoironment is desirable
    • Knowledge of aerospace industry manufacturing, including process and material specifications associated with fabrication of parts made from exotic alloys, is desirable
    • Experience working in the aerospace MRO market is a plus
    • Comfortable using MS Office software
    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T 
    • Ability to perform project management
    • Experience working with CAD software
    • Ability to rapidly learn Exotic software packages including our ERP system, Quality system (Tip QA) Unigraphics CAD and Teamcenter
    • Tool development and design in support of manufacturing plans
    • Effective communicating both verbally and in writing.
