Job Title: Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: Marketing Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: The Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator will assist the Marketing team in a variety of administrative and project management tasks to drive the marketing efforts of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Find, research, monitor and evaluate local grass roots events for locations within our target demographic
Assist the Marketing Manager as needed to facilitate any existing, new or potential partnerships with businesses, community leaders, or community members, including attending in-person meetings to cultivate partnerships
Attend monthly in-services at all Goldfish locations in the market to make a brief presentation about the marketing team
Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing training as needed for all new marketing staff members
Create and post content on Facebook and Instagram following the general weekly and/or monthly content guide set forth by the Marketing Manager
Update each of the local website pages to ensure that information is up to date
Create and update the monthly newsletter, television slides and in-school signage for all locations in the market
Plan, coordinate and execute on-site events, giveaways, activities, and promotions throughout the year
Become an expert in executing the Goldfish W.A.T.E.R. Safety Program to children as well as maintaining and expanding relationships with community groups and community-based programs at Goldfish
Desired Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience ranging from social media (Facebook, Instagram) to direct email marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office applications and basics of maintaining a website
Manage several tasks simultaneously, work independently, and be highly organized
Ability to research, generate and track leads for new marketing opportunities

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. BS/BA preferred.
Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is regularly at our facilities which are open to the public. Noise level is usually moderate.
