  • Responsibilities

    PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION

    Responsible for the following:

    1. Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years
    2. Evaluation services
    3. Job-related department responsibilities

           

     

    POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per day
    • Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
    • Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
    • Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
    • Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
    • Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
    • Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:
    1. Daily notation of therapy
    2. All progress reports with updates
    3. Rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
    4. Other activities that may be assigned form time to time, i.e. splinting
    • Comply with established CRC, Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.
    • Participate in all department in-services and staff development activities

    Required Skills

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/or DPT (Doctorate in PT)
    • NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in process with permit.
    • Must maintain license in good standing.
