Graduate Assistant/Qualitative Data Coder
Professors Greenberg, Cattani, and Porac of NYU-Stern are conducting a large-scale quantitative and qualitative study of the New York City restaurant industry that is funded by the NSF and Kauffman Foundation. The projects include semi-structured interviews and quantitative data analyses of geospatial, restaurant review, and public and restricted-access government data.
We are interested in hiring a research assistant to work on critical aspects of the qualitative data analysis. Compensation is competitive and includes access to data that are exceptionally rich and stimulating.
Current graduate student at NYU.
The ideal candidate has an interest and passion in food studies or restaurants more generally and has significant experience coding qualitative data systematically using Atlas.ti or Nvivo.
