    Job Description

    The Raclin Murphy Museum of Art strives to create positions for students to work closely with a specific Museum department while allowing moments for broad learning of museum practice.

    The Graphic Design and Marketing Student Assistant will work directly with our Communications Program Director to assist with day-to-day communication needs that help promote exhibitions and programs at the Museum.

    Projects/work assignments:

    • Sending weekly promotional materials to campus and community partners
    • Assisting in day-to-day communication needs
    • Creating digital signage to promote upcoming programs at the Museum

    Schedule:

    • 4–6 hours/week
    • May–August

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Adobe Suite required, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign
    • Ability to work both independently and with a team
    • Ability to write clearly and creatively
    • This position is only open to current college and university students.

    Pay range: $17.50 an hour
