    WORK LOCATION – Remote / New Delhi

    DURATION – Three months, full-time paid internship

With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.

     

    Overall learning goals for the intern include but are not limited to:

    • Develop a broad understanding of the research landscape in Mental Health Ecosystem in India and global.
    • Learn hands-on skills in secondary research, literature review, and writing technical reports.
    • Develop project management skills by participating in internal planning discussions.

     

     RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

     As a part of the Mental Health Program, the Intern will perform the following duties and deliverables:

     

    • Review of the scientific and grey literature to synthesize validated information relevant to science, policies, and practices in mental health ecosystem in India and globally.

    • Assist program team in conducting secondary research to retrieve the data and information relevant for various ongoing projects.

    • Support program team in writing knowledge products such as project deliverable reports, technical briefs, and country profiles.

    • Attend team meetings/calls and take part in various operational activities of the program.

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Master’s Degree (MPH/MA-Psychology); candidates with bachelor’s Degree with experience may also apply.
    • High Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) 
    • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

     

    DESIRABLE SKILLSET:

    • Understanding of qualitative methods. 

    • Ability to prepare and deliver good presentations.

    • Ability to work on group as well as individual assignments. 

    • Ability to manage ambiguity and work in a fast-paced work environment. 

    • Prior experience / Internship with a consulting firm will be an added advantage

  • Qualifications
    • working knowledge of mechanical inspection and repairs
    • demonstrated mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance abilities
    • experience in 3 phase electric and AC/DC control circuitry skills are essential
    • ability to read diagrams a plus
    • repair high speed packaging machinery, PLC's, welding and machine shop skills are a plus
    • experience in the repair of Tiromat Packaging Machinery a plus

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have own hand tools.
