Located at the Framingham Heart Study of Boston University School of Medicine, this position is responsible for performing technical and administrative work as it relates to acquiring, analyzing and validating participants' medical records for categorization and compliance with Framingham Heart Study (FHS) standard protocols and ultimately to assure the integrity of the Framingham Heart Study Sequence of Events database. Supervises the Medical Health Update participant compliance rate. Trains other employees to conduct Medical Health Update interviews, including Health Information Management (HIM) issues with regard to confidentiality agreements and compliance. Also, generating medical records request to acquire medical information if indicated. The position may require supervising student volunteers

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of medical terminology and/or medical records working experiences is required
• A Master's degree is the preferred degree level
