    The Department of Film and Television at Boston University’s College of Communication is seeking a Professor of The Practice in the area of Cinematography. Qualified applicants will be distinguished practitioners with a significant body of work demonstrating diverse perspectives, an international reputation and an enthusiasm for teaching. An advanced degree and a background of teaching at the university level is preferred.

    Duties require teaching three courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level. Courses would include offerings in the production curriculum such as Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Cinematography. Department faculty are also encouraged to propose and develop new courses in their field of expertise. This position offers ample opportunities for mentoring talented young filmmakers as they explore the field of Cinematography and develop their careers.
