Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) are seeking a BC/BE colleague with specialization in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology to join the Neurology Department faculty.  Candidates who also have an interest in general neurology are desirable.

BU/BMC has a long tradition of excellence in neurology and neuroscience, with a large population with demyelinating disease and challenging neuroinflammatory conditions, including a strong overlap with neuro-infectious disease. It is an exciting time to be at BUSM, as our staff and resources are expanding rapidly, and with a supportive hospital administration to grow our population of patients in need of infusion therapy for treatment of neuroinflammatory conditions.

The MS Division is strongly integrated with the other divisions in the Department of Neurology at BMC, including Neuro-infectious Disease, Sleep Medicine, Vascular Neurology, Neurocritical Care, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Memory Disorders, Pain and General Neurology.

The position offers an opportunity for program leadership and development. The salary structure and compensation plan is competitive for academic MS positions in the Northeast.

Boston Medical Center proudly serves a diverse population in Boston, and boasts a world-class academic medical center in Boston University School of Medicine, with a commitment caring for all patients, including the underserved.

Boston is an exciting place to live with everything a major world city can offer.  The “smallest big city” in the US, enjoy watching the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox, then hop a flight to Paris at Logan International Airport, just 10 minutes from downtown. Boston is also the nation’s healthcare hub and offers dramatic opportunity for innovation and academic advancement in the healthcare industry. Bostonians enjoy surrounding parks, beaches and forest preserves by day, and local breweries, eclectic restaurants, historic theaters and world class music and arts by night, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Boston Ballet. With the most Colleges and Universities in the country, Boston feels young, cutting edge, and highly academic.
