  • Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director of Faculty Actions, The Manager of Academic Programs is responsible for overseeing the administrative aspects of academic programs and part-time faculty actions at MET, also under the supervision of the Assistant Dean, Associate Dean, and the Dean of MET.

    The key responsibilities include course scheduling for over 400-course sections, course evaluations, faculty actions and payroll for over 300 part-time faculty, data analysis, and reporting, and the general supervision of staff and procedures in the Office of the Dean.

    The Manager of Academic Programs initiates and supervises special and reoccurring projects for the Administrative Coordinator and Academic Program Administrator, including defining responsibilities and providing training on key systems and procedures and ensuring their coverage of office reception and supervision of student workers, managing project teams, and creating timelines for project completion.

    The Manager of Academic Programs is responsible for providing detailed, in-depth analytic reporting on the internal academic programs and services for management and planning, including evaluating course patterns, student metrics, and enrollments trends, and strategizes approaches for improvement. Also implements administrative and academic policies across a great variety of academic programs and a large number of faculty of Metropolitan College.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelors Degree and 4-6 years of related experience required, Masters degree strongly preferred,
    • MS Office proficiency
