    Personal Trainer, Cambridge, MA

    At Harvard Recreation , managed by HealthFitness , our personal trainers are true professionals. Their sole responsibility is to design customized workout programs and train our members based on their needs. In this role, you'll deliver 1-1, buddy, and group personal training and assist with our female focused training programs. You will provide detailed orientations that address the aerobic, strength and flexibility components of the exercise program, educate about the fundamentals of strength and aerobic training, and demonstrate the proper and safe use of equipment. You will also need to carry out administrative tasks that include but are not limited to client record keeping, scheduling sessions, inputting completed sessions for payroll, and attending monthly meetings. Flexible schedule: 30-40 hours per week.

    What's Needed:

    • Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider and ideally 1+ year of personal training experience.
    • Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.

  • Qualifications
    • Has the ability and desire to repair, assemble and disconnect dental equipment. Stays current with technical knowledge and best practices.
    • Must possess knowledge of dental/medical equipment and installation including the ability to diagnose and problem solve pneumatic and electric operating systems. Experience as a dental equipment service technician is preferred.
    • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows is mandatory
    • Must have knowledge of how CAD / CAM systems work and interact.
    • Must have an excellent ability to concisely articulate the proper use and maintenance of a variety of dental equipment including dental chairs, lights, digital equipment and sterilization equipment.
    • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
    • Must have a firm understanding of Internet connectivity and networking. Experience with commercial audio and video systems.
