    Required Qualifications: ****

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
    • Two (2) years of experience in a financial aid setting.
    • Strong foundation in SQL, PeopleSoft Queries, and Excel reporting.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of financial aid systems with experience in financial aid upgrades, reports, and software problems

    Key Responsibilities : This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial aid data/information to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations, policies, and procedures for the Financial Aid Services Office.
    • Provide technical support for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, PeopleSoft, and other software, including testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting software problems in collaboration with our Business Analyst.
    • This individual will generate processes for various letters and emails distributed by the office.
    • Create and maintain support documentation and perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
    • Serves as a resource for employees needing information about financial aid tables, data groups, and fields.
    • Use sound judgement to provide experienced analysis of of existing data and satisfies ad-hoc reporting/analysis requests.
    • Performs analysis to interpret and determine validity and quality of data.
    • Performs migration and conversion of data as needed in support of analysis and aid-year rollover.
    • Researches and stays up-to-date with best practices, technology, and tools to make recommendations to improve data analysis services and approaches.

    **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: **

    • Knowledge of query and database management as well as knowledge of various reporting software (SQL, Access, Excel, PeopleSoft, etc.).
    • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
    • Be skilled in customer service, record keeping and communication.
    • Must be creative and have the ability to work independent with special projects.
    • Possess the ability to multi-task, utilize time management, and be well organized.
