    Required Qualifications: **** This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Business, Education, Communications, or closely related field. This position also requires two (2) years of related work experience coordinating and/or implementing direct student services and case management in a professional environment.

    Key Responsibilities **: **This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

    • Assist Flagler County secondary and Florida Technical College’s postsecondary students with outreach, guidance and advisement activities that will facilitate the transition and program completion of students into Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways/programs offered at Daytona State College.
    • Plan and develop information sharing and outreach activities that will provide exposure to introduce and engage students with campus resources, faculty and staff.
    • Document and track student recruitment, enrollment and successful program completion and submit transition reports.
    • Identify partnerships within the community and make connections with industries that are relevant to CTE programs.
    • Attend relevant CTE networking meetings and events to present the college’s CTE program offerings.
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned and directed by the supervisor, grant project director or their designee.

    **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: **

    • Demonstrated knowledge of community outreach, student recruiting and student follow-up procedures.
    • Strong public speaking experience and mastery of Excel and computer data base systems.
    • Ability to follow complex directions, handle multiple priorities and solve problems, acting independently to initiate and complete assignments.
    • Be able to function effectively in a team environment and possess planning and visionary skills.
