  • Responsibilities

    As a Human Resources Generalist for EF Education First, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides effective and timely HR support and collaboration for and with employees, managers and the HR and Payroll teams. EF’s HR/Benefits team core functions include benefits administration, employee life cycle activities, employee relations and professional development. You will have exposure to team processes in all the aforementioned areas in this HR Generalist role. You will also support the team operationally by running time-sensitive reports, executing mailings, filing employee records, and helping to manage the team’s shared email inbox to ensure responsive customer service to our employees throughout the US.

    What you’ll do:

    • Working with staff to help them understand and make the most of our benefits plans, including troubleshooting and resolution on claims issues.
    • Helping staff understand and navigate our leave policies and plans.
    • Reporting on and analyzing employment data.
    • Conducting exit interviews and providing support to the employee and internal teams, as needed.
    • Support weekly new employee orientations.
    • Assist in the planning and execution of additional onboarding activities, and support employee engagement and retention.

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
    • Prior HR experience, specifically with exposure to employee relations or leave process management, a minimum of 1-3 years preferred.
    • Operationally strong with keen analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and strategic communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and consciousness in managing confidential information.
    • Efficient and process oriented.
    • Enjoys interacting and supporting staff members through consultation and guidance.
    • Capacity to work in a timely and organized way to meet mandatory deadlines.
