Head Baseball Coach
Cameron University, and NCAA DII member of the Lone Star Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Head Basketball Coach. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Head Men's Baseball Coach is responsible for the development and implementation of a highly competitive collegiate athletic program in conformity with NCAA and University rules, regulations, and policies.
Duties include, but are not limited to: cultivating a culture of excellence; recruiting qualified student athletes; administering scholarship program for baseball; developing team schedules; developing a team budget within allocated institutional resources and managing expenditures of funds within developed budget; performing fundraising for the baseball program; assuring the academic success of the baseball student athletes; supervising professional and graduate assistants; other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 3-5 years successful coaching experience at the collegiate level
· Proven ability to recruit qualified student-athletes
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master’s degree
· Collegiate head coaching experience
· Knowledge of DII rules, regulations, and philosophy
