  • Responsibilities

    The Help Desk Support student will have the responsibility of assisting the UDAR ITS Help Desk team and users on various hardware and software related issues. This position will provide support to all UDAR staff members. Professionalism is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems at the direction of UDAR ITS Help Desk members.
    • Document, track, and monitor assigned work to ensure a timely completion.
    • Perform scheduled deployments, repairs, upgrades, and equipment moves as directed.
    • Provide end users support and routine maintenance.
    • Process employee on-boardings and off-boardings
    • Conduct IT orientation sessions with new employees.
    • Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to the area of responsibility.
  • Qualifications

    Requirements & Experience

    • Strong interest in computers and technology.
    • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and 10.
    • General knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.).
    • General knowledge of the G Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.)
    • General knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
    • Must have a strong work ethic, organization skills, the desire to learn, and is not afraid to ask questions.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
    • Able to lift or carry up to 30 lbs.
    • Previous computer support experience preferred.
