    The Plant HR Associate will support the administration of various HR plans and procedures for all plant personnel. Assists in the development and implementation of all policies and procedures as it relates to our employees. Assists with handling all employee matters as it relates to payroll/timekeeping, insurance, workers' compensation, record keeping/documentation and other employee matters. Maintains employee files, manages company human resources records, processes various reports through Kronos and other HRIS systems and is the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding pay, LOA and benefits. Ensure compliance with employment law.

    Maintaining and Managing Processes:

    • Processes and monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and workers compensation claims
    • Explains, processes and monitors FMLA process to eligible employees

    Attendance Monitoring:

    • Manages the attendance/time off tracker
    • Assigns points for early outs
    • Enters time corrections and update KRONOS
    • Manages missed punch process
    • Ensures attendance points are updated and accurate on a daily basis
    • Ensures attendance warnings are provided to supervisors in a timely manner
    • Maintains employee files
    • Submits payroll change forms/distribute merit letters

    Process reports, requests & communications:

    • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
    • Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential
    • Provides verification letters.
    • Processes PTO requests.
    • Coordinates attendance and performance reward program
    • Processes terminations for the site
    • Posts attendance points and missed punches

    General Responsibilities:

    • Follows the facility GMPs and help enforce them throughout the facility
    • Supports the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs
    • Maintains and updates contact list for the site
    • Maintains and updates seating plan

    • Up to one year of post-high school training such as in a business school, community college or vocational training.
    • Proficient in MS Office Applications; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • At least one year of HR/office/customer service experience
    • Proficient in Google Drive
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is desired
    • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Detail oriented with a focus on quality results/deliverables
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high caliber and dynamic environment
    • Good organizational skills and time management are a must
    • General knowledge of state and local laws
