  • Responsibilities
    • Serve as the first-line resource for Headfirst team members and leadership regarding any HR-related questions, issues, and ideas.
    • Maintain accurate electronic records in the HR information systems, including initial data entry and continued maintenance of employee records.
    • Conduct timely audits of data systems and processes to reduce data entry errors and ensure quality control.
    • Provide support to site program teams preparing for accreditation and licensing site visits as needed.
    • Support HRIS projects across a wide range of topics including implementations, upgrades, and systems structure and design changes.
    • Manage benefits administration, including supplier relationships, annual enrollment, and compliance.
    • Serve as a bridge to Accounting on payroll processing and ongoing administration as needed.
    • Research, help draft, and maintain Headfirst's policies and procedures, and related documentation.
    • Support the Talent function by serving as a recruiting coordinator and screener for the HQ recruiting and hiring process.
    • Manage the HQ onboarding process to ensure that all team members comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Partner with leadership to research, plan, and implement all aspects of company culture including team-building, professional development, evaluations, engagement, and retention.
    • Engage, build, and live Headfirst's culture while being a champion of our values and mission.
    • Partner with other departments and divisions including Finance, Operations, IT, and Marketing to ensure effective overall operations.
    • Act as the general point-of-contact for day-to-day office operations need.
    • Serve as systems administrator for office technology accounts.
    • Take on additional responsibilities as identified or requested by Headfirst leadership.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 1-2 years of experience in human resources and compliance, office operations, and/or business administration.
    • Superb organizational and planning abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Aptitude for learning HR information systems.
    • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to organize tasks and prioritize time in the face of competing duties.
    • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, applicable employment laws and regulations.
    • Concise and articulate written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven professional composure, discretion, and judgment.
    • Desire and drive to help create a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
