The Impact team at LeaderTreks is more than an internship; it’s an opportunity to do meaningful work in an environment that will challenge, train, and grow you.

We will help you grow in your understanding of yourself, your relationship with Jesus, and your leadership. You will also be an integral part of the LeaderTreks ministry; we’re counting on you to change students’ lives.

For ten weeks of the summer Impact team members join full-time LeaderTreks trip leaders in developing middle and high school students as disciples and leaders on both missions and wilderness trips.

Job Responsibilities:

Impact team members will:

• Participate in a weeklong training trip at the beginning of the summer build meaningful relationships with students

• Foster an environment of challenge use teachable moments to instruct students in applicable leadership principles

• Model for students what it looks like to daily follow Jesus

• Assist their full-time trip leader with trip logistics, such as the purchase or food or work project management commit to daily evaluation and personal goal setting

• Celebrate and debrief with other Impact team members on a weekend houseboat adventure in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky

*Our office is located outside of Chicago in Carol Stream, IL. Trips and training events take place across the United States and Latin America.

Must have completed at least one year of college.
