    This is a Hybrid role (several days in-office per week), based in Bloomington, Indiana_**

    The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a highly organized, reliable, and professional Stewardship Officer to join the Donor Relations team.

    This role is all about showing and sharing appreciation for the extraordinary donors to IU. You’ll be the single point of contact for an assigned portfolio of Indiana University fundraising units providing excellent stewardship support and activities. You will research beneficiaries of student philanthropic scholarships and faculty support for impact reporting, coordinate concierge services such as flowers, hotel accommodations and custom high-end gifts, and celebrate donors as they reach important philanthropic milestones and membership in select recognition societies.

    This position requires strong project management and prioritization, a keen eye for detail, great communication skills (written and verbal), and adaptability to change priorities as needs arise. The Donor Relations team celebrates donors for their contributions toward Indiana University’s mission and goals and ensures they understand our deep appreciation for their generosity.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum 3 years professional experience in fundraising, public relations, or customer service position, preferably in higher education or other complex institution
    • Combination of education/career experience will be considered

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

    • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
    • Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to write in a clear, concise, and error-free manner
    • Strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills
    • High level of personal and professional integrity
    • Good judgment in managing confidential information
    • Ability to interact with stakeholders from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
