Market Research & Insights Analyst
Job Description
** The salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000**
This is a Hybrid role, with 3 days in-office in Bloomington, Indiana
Join the Indiana University Foundation (IUF) as the Market Research & Insights Analyst, where you'll transform data into actionable strategies that ultimately support Indiana University and beyond.
As a key member of our Annual Giving & Market Segmentation team, you will proactively gather and analyze trends, leveraging CRM-driven analytics and other data for a variety of initiatives. With your leadership and expertise, you will translate this data into meaningful insights about alumni, donors, and other target audiences.
As an analyst, you’ll serve as the team’s go-to expert related to survey development and analysis. You will work closely with marketing leadership to identify, capture, and report on department analytics, hold key relationships with others on the team, and help create a culture that embraces metrics and educates others on how to incorporate these outcomes to inform our decision-making.
You’ll develop an intimate understanding of our database capabilities and reporting tools. You will solely manage our IU panel, nurture those participant relationships, and drive survey strategy for the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will need to design panel and non-panel research plans, methodologies, samples, budgets, and timelines for in-market experiments and testing. You will need to know how to frame research problems, hypotheses, and solutions and compile reports/results/trends using primary or secondary data independently of others.
As a vital member of the team, you will become an expert on the external drivers of business success, such as primary market research, donor feedback, market conditions, competitive analysis, secondary research materials, program engagement rates, digital marketing analytics, and real-time audience behaviors. You must know how to weigh data and choose appropriate statistical analyses to ensure accurate reliable reports too.
If you possess strong analytical skills, a commitment to accurate data and storytelling, and the ability to partner closely with stakeholders, we invite you to contribute to the mission of the Indiana University Foundation.
