The Indiana University Foundation is seeking two to three Individual Giving Officers (IGOs) to serve on the Individual Giving Team.
This is a great opportunity for individuals that are new to fundraising, and a robust onboarding and engagement plan will set ambitious candidates up for a great future in higher education fundraising at IU!
Individual Giving Officers will be focused on two major areas of fundraising: identifying major gift prospects and cultivating leadership annual giving donors. These IGO’s will have the unique opportunity to engage with donors and prospects with varying areas of philanthropic interest and to work collaboratively with schools/units/campuses across Indiana University providing seamless connections as they learn more about donor and prospect interests.
The IGO’s will be based in Indiana and travel within assigned territory (East/NE or South/Southeast US), are responsible for the full planning and execution of donor visits, and should expect to travel nationally 4-6 days per month.

The salary range for this position is $53,000- $56,000. This position is hybrid eligible, and IGO’s will be asked to complete onboarding for several weeks in Bloomington, IN, with a flexible hybrid schedule thereafter. The targeted start date for the IGO’s is July 2023.
