Human Resources & Culture Internship – Summer 2024
Job Description
The IU Foundation’s Human Resources & Culture team is seeking applicants for an immersive, hands-on Human Resources internship for the summer of 2024.
This is a full-time, competitively paid internship opportunity at our Bloomington, Indiana office and runs from May 13th - August 5th, 2024.
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, Finance and Operations, you will have the opportunity to work in all areas of HR including benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, and HR business partner functions to allow you to explore which areas of HR you are most interested in. You’ll also have the opportunity to hone your project management skills by assisting with the launch of a new innovative learning management software, working on content for a new onboarding program, and helping with the roll-out of our new leadership training sessions.
You’ll also gain exposure to the talent acquisition function by shadowing recruitment processes and with our business partner team by shadowing the roll-out of the performance management cycle. This internship is designed for hands-on learning experiences and is a great opportunity for anyone considering a career based anywhere in the Human Resources field.
The IU Foundation has a robust and long-standing summer internship program. As an IUF Foundation intern, you will join over a dozen interns from other functional areas of IU and will have the opportunity to learn how various aspects of non-profit business function. The ideal intern will be organized and collaborative, with a curious mind and a desire to network and grow both personally and professionally.
