As part of the Feld Center for Career and Alumni Engagement team, the Industry Relations Manager (IRM) will manage relationships with startup/early growth (1-250 employees; Seed-Series A/B funding) and mid-sized (250-2000 employees; Series C+/Pre-IPO/Recently public) innovative technology employers and business units, including AI and enterprise software (SaaS), Cybersecurity, Robotics and automation, and Health tech and digital health, and conduct new business development to cultivate new employer relationships in these sectors for the purpose of enhancing career outcomes for Questrom undergraduate and graduate students. The IRM will expand internship and job opportunities for Questrom students in innovative technology sectors by establishing strong relationships with key employers, recruiters, and alumni in order to develop important networks, identify quality internship and career programs and opportunities, and keep abreast of employer needs. The IRM will also dedicate a portion of their time to sourcing and cultivating internship and full-time opportunities for Questrom's international students, with a focus on employers open to hiring candidates on CPT, OPT, and STEM OPT and to sponsoring work visas as well as opportunities located outside of the United States. The IRM will identify and build relationships with target employers with strong internship and full-time job opportunities as well as action learning opportunities that align with Questrom students' interests and strengths, and will increase opportunities for students to interview with these companies by effectively marketing the Questrom School of Business. The IRM will engage employer partners for on and off-campus recruiting events and activities, and will involve employer partners in other academic engagement and extracurricular opportunities, including collaboration with faculty and student organizations. The IRM will systematically conduct research among prospective and current recruiters that clearly identifies their needs and how to best meet them. The IRM will share information, analysis, and ideas from the marketplace with fellow faculty and staff members for the purpose of better preparing students in their chosen career paths.
