Service Learning Intern Location: Austin, TX Job Code: 836 # of openings: 1 Description Job Description International Studies Abroad (ISA) seeks a dynamic, full-time intern to assist the service-learning department within the areas of administration, admissions and marketing. The intern will receive a greater understanding of how international service-learning programs are developed, managed and marketed. This is an ideal position for students studying Leadership, Community Development, Social Entrepreneurship, International Development, International Relations, International Higher Education Management, Global Studies, Foreign Language, or International Business. Responsibilities Work with Outreach Manager to: Reply to prospective/interested student inquiries Complete online directory project Assist Program Manager with all phases of admissions process including: Calling pending students regarding submission of application materials Writing and editing admissions forms and orientation materials Work with Placement Coordinator to: Update website content Update information in the Placement Database Depending on Spanish language skill, conduct language interviews Assist Academic Coordinator with: Creating and updating deadlines for syllabus Generating certificates of completion Reviewing log of hours submissions on Schoology Other responsibilities as needed Required Qualifications At least college Junior or Senior standing Superior writing and editing skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience studying, volunteering, interning abroad Graduate student or recent college graduate Intermediate to advanced level of Spanish or other foreign language *WorldStrides is an equal opportunity employer.
