We are actively seeking a Water & Wastewater Construction Inspector (RPR) II to join our team of dedicated professionals in King of Prussia, PA. As a WATER & WASTEWATER CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR (RPR) II, you are responsible for engineering related practices and construction observation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducting on-site observation of work in progress in accordance with Contract documents
- Document and report when work does not conform to Contract documents
- Conducting final inspections to ensure:
- All items are completed or corrected and make recommendations to Project Manager concerning acceptance
- Certificates, maintenance and operation manuals and other data required to be assembled and furnished by Contractor are applicable to the items actually installed and in accordance with the Contract documents
- Drafting proposed change orders and work directive changes
- Reviewing project schedules, schedules of shop drawing submittals and schedules of values prepared by Contractor
- Maintaining field observation reports including photographs
Required Skills
Required Experience
- High school or GED
- Minimum 4-6 years' experience in:
- construction observation and administration relative to water and wastewater projects
- construction observation and/or management for storm water, site grading, paving and highway projects
- basic survey, grade and cut sheets and quantity data
- NICET certification, desired
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must have a valid Driver's License to travel to job sites, meetings and/or HRG office(s)
- Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
