    Sustainable Agriculture Internship - Tracking Code - 190100 Job Description - This internship is designed to provide a student at JCCC practical experience working at Johnson County Community College's Farm as well as with JCCC's Center for Sustainability on a variety of projects. Successful applicant must be willing to do farm work as well as office work. - Provide labor and learn the development of the farms operations. - Employee is involved in day to day planning and is actively learning the planning process for sustainable market farming. - Learn and conduct proper marketing of products for a sustainable farming operation - Operate and maintain clean, orderly facilities and equipment, in a safe manner. Required Skills - Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills. Ability to conduct duties in a friendly, discreet and professional manner. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments. Valid drivers license and ability to pass MVR along with background check. Travel required within local area and on campus. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with the use of designated moving equipment and/or other assistance. Required Experience - JCCC Sustainable Agriculture student in good standing.
