You will receive application status confirmation on the screen *Faculty chair signature required Advertising Summary Link to Career Services website http://www.jjc.edu/career-services/Pages/default.aspx Job Description Position Title: On-Campus Intern Communications and External Relations Department: Communications and External Relations Reports to: Kelly Rohder Position Summary: The communications intern assists specifically in the creation of digital content, including video editing and production work. Photography, photo editing, and familiarity with social media is a plus. Essential Job Duties and Key Responsibilities:

    1. Create compelling digital content with an emphasis in photo and video work that generates conversations through social media posts, tweets, status updates, pins, etc. and further grows engagement on college social media channels. 2. Manage CER video footage archive. 3. Work closely with Communications and Media Specialist on daily assignments. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Must be enrolled into at least 6 credit hours at Joliet Junior College 2. 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher 3. Good standing with the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities 4. Must have completed one major course, prior to applying for internship 5. Must be referred to the On-campus Internship by a JJC staff or Faculty member Preferred Qualifications: 1. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite. 2. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines. 3. Ability to work closely with multiple constituents, including faculty, students, staff, and alumni. Physical Demands: Normal office physical demands.
