    Required Qualifications: **** This position requires an Associate degree in education, business administration, recreation, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications: **** Two (2) years related experience and experience in a College or University setting, student life, or student housing is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities **: **This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

    • Plans and implements departmental co-curricular programs and activities that reflect student interests and support institutional values and goals.
    • Provides assistance and support to Student Life with student organizations in planning and implementing campus and community service events and activities at all campuses.
    • Supports efforts to create opportunities for students to develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Assists with the residence hall application process, offer process, documentation, room assignments, and any other housing processes.
    • Assists with residence hall check in, check out, and building operations processes as required for student residents.
    • Provides effective and efficient communications for Student Life via email, text message, phone, social media, and in-person to meet departmental needs.
    • Responds to inquiries and/or concerns from students, staff, or the general public to solve problems or discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with other areas and departments to facilitate successful Student Life operations.
    • Assists with intramural sports events and activities.
    • Manages the set up and maintenance of supplies and equipment for student programs and activities.
    • Assists with awards ceremonies.

    **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: **

    • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Requires ability to compile information, maintain records, and create, maintain, and generate various Student Life reports.
    • Requires excellent verbal and written skills.
    • Must have excellent customer service.
    • Must have strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Requires work that involves walking or standing some of the time, exerting up to ten pounds of force on a recurring basis. Some heavy lifting will be required during special events.
    • Will experience exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures.
    • Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.

    • Should be able to solve a variety of mathematical questions.
    • Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment and other tools used in complicated rework operations.
    • Good visual capability and attention to detail.
    • Work from moderately difficult charts and operation sheets.
    • Job entails working with small parts/components, must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands
    • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
    • Ability to read and interpret operation sheets
    • Must be able to work quickly and with accuracy
    • Must be able to work from blue prints, operation sheets, sketches and oral or written instructions
