Mentors work one-on-one with kids learning to code, encouraging them to have fun and keep advancing year-round. The kids travel to campus for a weekly 90-minute session. Mentors work with the same kids for months or even years - it is very rewarding to see the students' growth over such a long time period!

    • The mentor's primary responsibility is to make it fun for the students by helping them create exciting projects. The more creativity the mentors can encourage, the better.

    • Mentors are in charge of personalizing the education so that each student is working at their perfect difficulty level. This means teaching and reviewing concepts, but also shielding the student from some of the complexity until they are ready.

    • The mentors schedule sessions directly with the parents (it is usually easy since it is at the same day/time every week).
