    PATH is at the forefront of finding and implementing effective approaches to improve maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition. Anemia control and its immense public health gains continue to be a low-hanging fruit that has evaded public health programs.

     

    This position will support a rigorous in-depth systematic review of the literature on interventions related to the diagnosis and treatment of anemia with primary and secondary consultations to develop well-informed action plan for the country and the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

     

    PATH seeks to recruit a PROGRAM ASSOCIATE (ANEMIA). S/he will be responsible for supporting the project manager in coordination of all the activities in the project and ensuring the timelines are met as per project plans.

     

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Support the Project Manager in review of literature on anemia prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
    • Assist in developing project strategy and work plan
    • Track the project implementation plan and support implementation of the activities.
    • Create presentations for key meetings of the project.
    • Prepare donor report and update notes on projects.
    • Coordinate with partners and donors for project coordination and reporting
    • Travel to project states for data collection, meetings and coordination.
    • Synthesize insights from field operations, program data, and from interaction with stakeholders.

     

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • 1-3 years of work experience in public health.
    • Master’s degree in management or public health
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
    • Fluency in English and Hindi, knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a complex environment.
    • Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

    Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel raw material. Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold or hot temperature.
