  • Responsibilities

    The Davison lab in the Dept. of Biology at Boston University seeks a Sr. Research Technician to contribute to research projects examining the neural basis for sensory perception and innate social behavior in rodents.

    The position will include independent experimental work using imaging and physiology tools to probe circuit function in behaving animals.

    Other responsibilities include general lab support, safety and compliance, and animal colony maintenance. Useful background experience includes, but is not limited to, animal behavior, physiology, or optical imaging; and/or scientific programming (MATLAB/Python).

    All motivated candidates with experience in Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

    The position is available immediately but the starting date is flexible.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelors degree required
    • 1-2 years of experience
