    POSITION OVERVIEW: 

    We are currently looking for a 2022 Summer IT Intern in our IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM) team.  As a Trustmark Intern, you will participate in a paid, 10 week summer program from late May through late July where you will work collaboratively will leaders, staff and other Interns across IT.  We’re planning on a hybrid Internship experience at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL where you’ll work three days per week in office and two days remote.  Paid housing will be provided for eligible students. 

     

    In this role, you will support the IAM teams overall RBAC (Role Based Access Control) and Quality Control building, testing and implementing activities.  You’ll collaborate with multiple teams across the IT and business organizations.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Pulling and manipulating IT data from one or more tool sources
    • Performing quality and accuracy assessments of data and data sources
    • Working with other department members to understand individual and team requirements of report objectives, presentation needs, and/or project deliverables.
    • Assisting other team members in performing/documenting gap analysis and developing plans, as necessary, to support final analysis outcomes.
    • Working on special initiatives which could include streamlining of processes, quality initiatives, or leading small scale projects.
    • Communicating effectively (both written and verbal) and demonstrating excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong intellectual curiosity.
    • Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or related field with a current GPA 3.0 or higher. 
    • Must be graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2022 and Summer 2023.
    • Project management ability to track tasks to completion.
    • Must be able to work full-time (37.5 hour work week) during the duration of the program.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications
    • 7 to 10 years of building maintenance management in a manufacturing facility, preferably in food industry or other governmental regulated industry.
    • Refrigeration, Ammonia and PSM experience required.
    • Expert knowledge of plant manufacturing equipment and systems, including, but not limited to, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC.
    • Working knowledge of federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations and related operational best practices.
    • Ability to manage complex installation and modification projects involving major capital expenditures in the area of responsibility.
    • Ability to develop, maintain, and apply analytical tools to moderately complex spreadsheets.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with peers, subordinates management and external contacts.
    • Ability to supervise and manage the work of others to achieve established goals and objectives.
    • Work is generally performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper PPE, with standard office equipment available along with plant manufacturing environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent subject matter expertise, analytical ability, and communication skills acquired through work.
