The Laboratory of Comparative Cognition at Boston University is interested in hiring a technical research assistant. We are a new laboratory applying advanced tools in optics, genetics and cell biology to study the neural basis of cognition. Duties of the assistant include behavioral studies, working with DNA and gene editing technology, microscopy and, possibly, the undertaking of independent research projects into neural basis of social learning. The position requires a 1-year minimum commitment and provides excellent training for medical school or graduate school.
