  • Responsibilities

    Join a dynamic AV/IT department! This position will participate in the consultation and design of AV/IT solutions offered to the University community. Responsible for designing, planning, and implementing AV/IT solutions that can span the entire university, including but not limited to new construction and renovation needs analysis consultations, scheduled refresh project consultation, meeting and event services, and support of digital signage, wireless presentation, web streaming, lecture capture, and web/video conferencing technologies.

     

    • Expertise in design, installation, and maintenance of AV presentation and conferencing systems.
    • Knowledge of the construction industry, best practices, processes, and procedures is extremely helpful.
    • Experience reading blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams; ensuring quality and coordinated installation of infrastructure and equipment.
    • Knowledge of current and emerging presentation technologies, techniques, and industry best practices.
    • Focus is on consistently providing best in class support to the technology client community of faculty, staff, and students, in the classroom and in support of all University meetings and events.
    • This position may entail working occasional and/or scheduled evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours and being on-call, as needed.

     

    Serve as part of the team that provides expert-level support for a wide variety of established and emerging AV/IT technology, computer, and classroom technology systems and services on BUs campuses as required.

    Required Skills

    5-8 years of experience. Bachelor's degree required (work experience in lieu of degree considered)
