The Department of Political Science at Boston University seeks to hire a one year full-time lecturer in American politics and policy. The teaching load is 3-2, and we expect the candidate to offer courses across all levels of our undergraduate program. The position is open with respect to substantive focus within American Politics however we particularly welcome candidates who can teach a mix of courses. An ideal candidate could, for example, teach introduction to public policy, mid-level courses such as media and politics or a course on the 2020 elections. The position also includes the opportunity to teach an advanced seminar of the candidates' choosing in their area of specialization. The start day is July 1, 2020.
