  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who will serve as the primary contact between each BEDAC client and research team members with respect to research computing and information technology activities. The Sr. PM will oversee up to 50 projects per year, many small in scope with short timeframes to complete deliverables. The Sr. PM will be responsible for facilitating communication, developing and managing project timelines and budgets, and reviewing final deliverables. The Sr. PM will oversee regulatory affairs, facilitate the development and maintenance of data management and statistical analysis plans, and manage the project, data, and reporting lifecycle. The Sr. PM will keep all key stakeholders abreast of project status, resolve issues, oversee change management, and ensure that the BEDAC standard operating procedures are followed. The Sr. PM will have the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously, utilize time and resources efficiently, and establish priorities to coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure completion of competing assignments within established timeframes.

     

    Required Skills

    The ideal candidate will have strong written, organization and communication skills, and technical experience in the software development lifecycle, data management, and reporting (or equivalent applied Public Health experience).

    Education: Bachelor's Degree with 3 or more years experience or a Master's Degree with 1 or more years experience in management of information technology research computing projects or public health research (or equivalent).

     

    The Biostatistics and Epidemiology Data Analytics Center (BEDAC), formerly the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) has been a data management resource center since 1984. The BEDAC assists with questionnaire and data collection form design; implementation of study protocols; data management; data entry; and statistical, database, and web-based programming. Our staff of statistical programmers, web programmers, and data managers have expertise in study design; electronic data capture; subject tracking systems; quality control procedures; and statistical methods. The BEDAC creates systems and procedures to avoid many of the difficulties typically encountered in research collaborations. With an experienced team of data professionals, we can provide data management and procedural consistency to ensure the highest quality data.
