  • Responsibilities

    The Glaucoma Research Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine seeks a research technician to assist in on-going research studies investigating structure and function of aqueous outflow pathways. The specific responsibilities of this position include ocular perfusion, embedding, sectioning, imaging eye tissues for light and electron microscopy and data analysis as well as essential three-dimensional EM reconstruction tasks, such as management of the large data sets, identifications of target cells, labor-intensive tracings of target cells and organelles, creations of 3D models, and analyses of 3D structural data.

    Required Skills

    BS degree is required with 1-3 years of work experience. Familiar with ImageJ or other image software and basic light microscopic sectioning and staining techniques is preferred but not required. We will provide training.
