_POSITION SUMMARY _

Responsible for assisting supervisor and co-workers perform a variety of tasks associated with the production and manufacture of fully cooked strip or raw bacon and bacon bits.

MAJOR POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

_(Essential duties for which this position is responsible.) _

• Perform all jobs in a manner that assures maximum possible personal safety, food safety and product quality.
• Tasks include product loading, product preparation, bacon slicing, bacon quality, product manipulation, packaging and palletizing.
• Perform tasks such as loading and palletizing require ability to complete and accurately evaluate paperwork.
• Perform tasks involving evaluating product against performance and quality specifications such as slicing, grading and packaging.

Required Skills

•  _EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS _
• High school, GED or equivalent preferred
• Meat experience and background preferred
• Internal applicants preferred.
