Trustmark Health Benefits is seeking an Underwriting Support/Sales Support associate to support our West Region business. Depending on location of candidate, this position could be a full-time remote position. THE KEY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION IS TO PROVIDE MARKETING, SALES, AND UNDERWRITING SUPPORT TO NEW AS WELL AS RENEWAL SELF-FUNDED CLIENTS. Builds strong relationships with stop loss carriers to maximize account retention, renewal increases and regional growth. Internally this position works closely with Client Management, Sales and Claims. Externally this position interacts with Brokers and Stop Loss Carriers.

Required Skills Required Experience
Master’s degree in Public Health, Education or Social Work. 3-5 years previous work experience in community program delivery preferably in both the non-profit health sector and academic research setting. This position must be able to work well with a great variety of people, from community members within the communities surrounding BMC, to students, research staff and Principal Investigators.
