  • Responsibilities

    Serve as the campus expert within highly specialized subject matter areas by forming and managing cross-functional commodity teams to develop robust business cases, RFI, RFQ and/or RFP packages; evaluate proposals; and select successful bidders. Provide leadership and expertise regarding procurement standards, product types, negotiation strategies, industry practices, relevant law, application of campus policies and contract issues. Develop and promote policies, standards, practices, procedures, templates, and other essentials of an effective and strategic acquisition process.

    Required Skills

    B.A./B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field, strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage projects, Microsoft Office, and three to five years of experience in procurement, sales or marketing preferably. SAPSRM, Ariba Sourcing and CPSM experience also preferred.
