  • Responsibilities

    The Section Administrator manages an effective research office for the Section Chief of Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology and his team of investigators. Major areas of responsibility include: Grant administrative oversight with an expertise in Training Grant Management and Post-Award Financial support for the Section of Preventive Medicine in all areas associated with managing a large scale, multi-faceted research entity, supervising temporary and full-time support staff, and facilitating communication networks between staff researchers and collaborators.

     

    Direct reporting to the Section Chief is a pinnacle objective for the role. Ability to collaborate with multiple administrative teams is a vital necessity given Section Chiefs role as the PI for the RURAL Study, BU Framingham Heart Study Director and lead Principal Investigator.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years required.
