  • Responsibilities

    A member of the Questrom Senior Leadership Team, the Associate Dean of Finance & Administration directs daily operations and drives planning, analysis, reporting, policy development and continuous improvement for finance, budgets and accounting, human resources, facilities and operations, and information technology.

     

    The successful candidate:

     

    • Leads and informs the identification, analysis, and prioritization of new and existing initiatives and resource allocation decisions; engages contingency planning to understand effects on the Questrom budget, resources, structures, and facilities; develops dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making.
    • Assures alignment of financial, human, technological and physical resources with Questrom's strategy, goals, and objectives.
    • Leads continuous improvement efforts at the School to assure the effective and efficient deployment of resources and optimal processes and structures and to instill a culture of operational excellence.
    • Acts in a management capacity to directly supervise the Executive Director of Financial Administration, Facilities & Operations, IS&T, Centralized Questrom Staff, and Human Resources including performance feedback and evaluation, task assignment and prioritization, professional development, and various staff oversight duties.
    • Serves as the Schools liaison to central administrative departments including the Provost, Budgets, General Accounting, HR, and IS&T in the execution of this role.

    • Demonstrated decision-making and leadership experience
    • Ten years of experience in strategic finance, budgeting, human resources, and facilities management in higher education
