    POSITION OVERVIEW: 

    We are currently looking for a 2022 Summer IT Intern in our DEMAND MANAGEMENT team.  As a Trustmark Intern, you will participate in a paid, 10 week summer program from late May through late July where you will work collaboratively will leaders, staff and other Interns across IT.  We’re planning on a hybrid Internship experience at our corporate headquarters in Lake Forest, IL where you’ll work three days per week in office and two days remote.  Paid housing will be provided for eligible students. 

     

    In this role, you will be collaborating with many of our IT teams working to improve and bring visibility to the demand management processes.  You will be assisting the demand management team with work intake, reporting, and visibility into the entire portfolio of demand.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create and interpret weekly and monthly reports for resource planning and utilization.
    • Create and maintain metrics for the various work items
    • Analyze historical utilization to predict future trends for resource needs
    • Assists in maintaining resource plans
    • Support the annual planning process

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong intellectual curiosity
    • Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or related field with a current GPA 3.0 or higher.
    • Must be graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2022 and Summer 2023.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and and Microsoft Project
    • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Strong collaboration & communication skills
    • Must be able to work full-time (37.5 hour work week) during the duration of the program

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

     

    High school diploma or GED preferred.
