    If you are looking to expand your skills and career, we want to hear from you! HealthFitness is currently seeking an Injury Prevention Coordinator to work at our client site in Marysville, Ohio. As the Coordinator you will develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs focused on the prevention of work related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment. This is done in collaboration with the Client’s employee healthcare teams, Plant Safety as well as other Client employee health-related departments.

    Work Schedule: M-F 5:30am-2pm, no evenings/weekends.

    *Position includes up to 25% travel: 1-2x/wk you will drive to our new hire training facility, just 15 minutes from our Marysville site to provide instruction as-needed. Transportation is provided by way of a company pool car. May occasionally have off-site training.

    Your impact:

    • Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education and training.
    • Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
    • Collects and documents appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
    • Develop, promote and market wellness and general education programs.
    • Supports Associate Care Teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and associate care management.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

    What you bring with you:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science or related field.
    • 1+ years’ experience in health and fitness.
    • Current Adult CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. ****
    • Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.
