  • Responsibilities

    The HR Operations Analyst is a critical member of the HR Systems team and has daily exposure to HR data, applications and reporting tools. While working within HR and HR Systems the HR Operations Analyst will also have extensive exposure to many administrative departments and schools within the University.

     

    As for key responsibilities, the HR Operations Analyst position will:

    • Resolve or triage SAP, and related HR system, user incident tickets through Service Now. Tickets include resolution of system errors, org or employee/personnel data updates, user training or system usage advice, data requests and system security updates.
    • Create and distribute adhock or scheduled reports in SAP BW and/or Query Manager for internal HR or external clients data requests.
    • Act as a bridge with Human Resources Service Center to understand possible data and process issues and looks for resolutions through available systems/applications/processes/reports available to HRIS.
    • Assist in University wide audits to ensure SAP org and personnel data quality.
    • Assist in quality assurance and user acceptance testing for cyclical system upgrades, enhancements and defect fixes.
    • Administer components of the staff/faculty BU identity process to ensure that staff and faculty identities, BUID #s and BU accounts are issued correctly, temp IDs are resolved and duplicate records are combined in a timely manner.

    Required Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related area and one to two years of demonstrated knowledge of general human resource practices or equivalent. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Human resource experience in a higher education setting.
