    Schedule/Hours: A 40-hour work week is required, and scheduling is dependent upon class and office hour assignments. Evening and or weekends may be a consideration.

    Required Qualifications: This position requires a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related subfield with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. Working knowledge in one or several of these areas: computer hardware, operating systems, computer programming languages, databases, machine-learning/Artificial Intelligence development environments or cybersecurity is also required. Candidates are expected to uphold a strong commitment to the education of our diverse student body at DSC. This position may be required to teach at one or more campuses/locations.

    Desired Qualifications: Doctorate is preferred. Teaching experience is desirable, experience with online education is also desirable.

    • Teaches assigned courses.
    • Assists in curriculum development, course reports, and textbook selection.
    • Uses instructional technology methods when presenting course content.
    • Communicates effectively and efficiently with students.
    • Provides written course syllabus which includes classroom policies, procedures, grading, and learning outcomes.
    • Uses appropriate and up-to-date course materials, including learning objectives, texts, and supplementary teaching materials.
    • Applies classroom management strategies in face to face, hybrid, and/or online format.
    • Implements student assessment policies, such as testing or observation of skills.
    • Submits grades or other course assessment reports in a timely manner.
    • Manages routine classroom responsibilities in a professional manner.

    Professional Development:

    • Participates in activities that advance professional competencies and teaching skills.
    • Engages in activities that advance the teaching discipline or profession.
    • Maintains or acquires appropriate or required certifications, licensure, or other professional credentials.

    College Responsibilities and Service:

    • Serving on department, school, and college-wide committees.

    • Attends department, division, and college-wide academic functions.

    • Keeps scheduled office hours as required by the respective load formula for the purpose of academic advising.

    • Records student attendance as necessary.

    • Develop the look and function for digital media interfaces including business website, and other mobile devices.
    • Act as the Digital Experience liaison between Marketing and Business Development.
    • Creation of Custom UX Mobile/Web-Based Applications tailored for marketing and business development.
    • Design custom BD applications for regional marketing & market sector sales and promotional materials.
    • Custom Design and develop Multi-Media Content, including highly focused informational websites, animated infographics and interactive presentations that assisted in the sales process.
    • Develop a marketing desktop application that houses cloud-based marketing resources such as videos, icons, infographics, boilerplate, project sheets and resumes.
    • Create within established guidelines specific to the brand's intended style and tone.
    • Create user-oriented models and website concepts to present to management and clients for approval.
    • Create multiple specifications of a graphic design according to needs, including mobile and web versions of software.
    • Responsible for strategy and editing all custom pursuit videos for production and works directly with third party consultants on all aspects of delivery.
    • Produce and edit video footage delivering various types of final productions including but not limited to, sit-down interviews, project video features and vendor trainings to gather research and share knowledge within the company.
