    Boston University School of Law is hiring a part-time lecturer to teach the Law School’s Client Counseling Seminar. Teaching the course will begin in Fall 2020 or Spring 2021. The lecturer will have the freedom to further develop and teach the existing one semester seminar. The goal of this simulation course is to provide students the opportunity to learn and practice foundational skills necessary to work with clients in the context of legal representation. These skills include identifying client interests and goals at the outset of a matter, discussing and analyzing legal options, and communicating and advising the client about new developments as matters progress. It is expected that students will learn by engaging in mock counseling interviews and other in class exercises.
